Pilates Class Of The Month!

This month we acknowledge our fabulous Wednesday 1.30pm Pilates Class Of The Month!

From Our Physio: “I have chosen my Wednesday 1.30pm Pilates class for Pilates Class of the Month for June! Nick, David, Liz and Bruce are dedicated to their Pilates and this is reflected in their consistent class attendance! Now veterans of the Bend + Mend Pilates studio – They have all battled their own injuries and persisted with great results. They are all keen to be challenged but have learnt to be wise with how much they push themselves in relation to their aches and pains. I always look forward to taking this class!”

From David: “Pilates has kept me active despite various old sporting injuries, increased my flexibility, sharpened my moves on the dance floor, made me more intelligent and improved my looks – thanks Bend & Mend!”

From Nick: “I have been attending Bend- +Mend’s Pilates classes since injuring my back in 2011 and have always enjoyed the atmosphere in which these classes are conducted.  These have helped me keep my back in check and the classes are always undertaken in a good humoured manner.  In addition to Pilates, Bend+Mend are also my regular physios and always patch me up whenever I have a reccurrence of the original injury or for other aches and pains that inevitably come long.  Their service is always friendly, efficient and effective.”

From Bruce: “Pilates is extending my body, mind, and sporting life…”

From Elizabeth: “My Wednesday lunch break at Pilates is the favourite in my week.  Physically, I feel the strongest I’ve ever been, my posture is better and the aches and pains of middle age have gone.  My Physio does an awesome job of tailoring the pilates to our individual needs, although there are the butt exercises – the burn is real.  I enjoy chatting with the group, we have a laugh, know about each others families, and hear about what everyone is going to eat for lunch!”
