The Unconquered – The Invictus Games 2018

With Price Harry and Meaghan Markle arriving in Sydney, as well seeing advertising all over the city, you’ve probably heard that the Invictus Games are about to start!

So, what is it?

The Invictus Games is an international multi-sport event in which wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and their associated veterans compete. This event was created by Prince Harry in 2014 after he attended the Warrior Games in the United States in 2013 and saw the positive effect sport can have on servicemen and women.

The first Invictus Games were hosted by London in 2014 with more than 400 competitors from 13 nations. The second Invictus Games were hosted by Orlando and the third in Toronto. Sydney now hosts the forth Invictus Games with over 500 competitors from 18 countries to compete in 11 medal sports.
