By July 16, 2018February 25th, 2019Physiotherapy

Katie is our Patient of the month for August. She has been exercising every single day for 1 year. Now that’s committed!

From Katie: “I absolutely love my fitness journey. I am grateful and extremely proud that I made the decision to challenge myself to work out at the gym every day to embed it into my lifestyle. Today is day 379 and I am working towards 500 consecutive days working out at the gym. I have proudly transformed my body and changed my lifestyle. I have currently lost 42.4 kilograms of weight and I am working towards my goal of having definitive abs by the end of this year. I have had injuries along the way but none that have thankfully stopped me from making it to the gym, Campbell has been amazing and always on stand by to help me with any injuries I encounter as part of my cardio or weight training. He was instrumental as my daily gym challenge moved from my initial 100 days upwards, to recommend that I begin Pilates to build up my core, which I have been doing for the past six months. A big thank you to Campbell who also helped me to manage my injuries so I could compete in the Spartan race earlier this year.”

And from Campbell: “Katie is amazing. Not only has she managed to exercise every single day for 365 consecutive days, she has also managed her bodys aches and pains throughout the whole process. This has not been so smooth sailing and together we have overcome a lot of injuries along the way. She has juggled many commitments but never let an excuse stop her from training. Through her determined approach and experienced Physio and P.T. guidance she has got there, and lost 41kg along the way.”
