Tell Someone Who Cares…World Incontinence Week June 22-28 2015

This may seem like a strange thing to dedicate a whole week of the year towards, however 1 in 4 people suffer from bladder and bowel incontinence and don’t realise there is a lot that can be done about it, BUT it won’t get better on its own!

Bladder and bowel control problems are not a natural part of childbirth and ageing, and they do not need to be put up with.
Research shows pelvic floor training from a Physio is successful in treating over 80% of urinary incontinence cases.

Improve your bladder and bowel health by adopting healthy habits: Eat well, drink well, exercise regularly, keep your pelvic floor toned, practise good toilet habits.
If you or someone you know suffers from bladder or bowel problems get in contact with Tori or Bonnie, our Women’s Health Physio’s at Bend + Mend in Sydney’s CBD. They are both also happy to speak to you over the phone and discuss whether a Women’s Health Physio appointment is appropriate for you.
